The Video section of the management system is available only for users with dealer rights for whom the Video monitoring service is enabled.
The section is designed for billing the Video module which includes different video monitoring features. In order for these features to be available for units, you should add these units for billing here and buy traffic for them as soon as it runs out.
In the Video section, you can also see information about available and used traffic, view statistics on its consumption, use automatic and bulk traffic purchase.
After opening the section, you can see a list of subordinate accounts in the properties of which the Video monitoring service is enabled. This list is displayed as a table with the following columns:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Account | The name of a subordinate account. |
Units | The number of units in a subordinate account that have been added for video monitoring. |
Traffic packages | The total number of traffic packages purchased for all the units of the account from the moment they were added. |
Click on the row with the account name to add units for billing, see information on traffic for the added units or buy traffic packages for them.
Adding units
In order for video monitoring features to be available for the units of an account, add these units for billing. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Click Add units.
- In the list of available units, select the ones you want to add for billing. The list contains only the units the devices of which support video monitoring features. To select several successive items at once, mark the first one and, while holding down the Shift key, mark the last one. Use the Select all option to select or clear the selection of all the items at the same time. The dynamic filter above the unit list works by name, device type, or creator. The search criterion is selected to the right of the filter.
- Move the selected units to the list of the billed ones by clicking on the icon .
- Click Apply.
After adding a unit to the list, a traffic package (1024 MB) is purchased for it automatically. The video of this unit becomes available for watching on the Video tab of the monitoring system.
You can limit the number of traffic packages available for the units of an account in the account properties (the Video monitoring service).
The list of the added units is displayed as a table. A traffic package is purchased automatically for each unit every month. Subsequently, you can purchase traffic packages in different ways.
A record of activating billing and video monitoring features is shown in the log.
Disabling video for units
To deactivate billing and video monitoring features for a unit, remove it from the list following the next steps:
- Click Add units.
- In the list of billed units on the right, select the ones for which you want to disable the video monitoring. You can select and search for units in the same way as when you add units.
- Move the selected units to the list on the left by clicking on the icon .
- Click Apply.
The information about the purchased and used traffic packages is stored until the end of the current month. Thus, if you remove a unit with available traffic, you can move it back to the billing list until the end of the current month and use this traffic. If you move the unit back after this period, you will lose the remaining traffic and a new package will be purchased automatically.
A record of deactivating billing and video monitoring features is shown in the log.
Unit table
The table displays only the units added for billing. The upper row shows the name of the selected account, the number of added units, and the total number of traffic packages purchased over the current month.
You can sort data in the table by the Unit name column in direct or reverse order.
The following buttons are displayed above the table:
